What Data We Use and Why<\/strong><\/h5><p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>3.1 Hosting<\/strong><\/span><br\/>The hosting services we use serve to provide the following services: infrastructure and platform services, computing capacity, storage space and database services, security services, and technical maintenance services that we use for the purpose of operating the Website.<br\/>In this context, we or our hosting provider process inventory data, contact data, content data, contract data, usage data, meta and communication data of customers, prospects, and visitors to this Website on the basis of our legitimate interests in an efficient and secure provision of our Website in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 f) GDPR in conjunction with Art. 28 GDPR.  <\/p><p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>3.2 Access Data<\/strong><\/span><br\/>We collect information about you when you use this Website. We automatically collect information about your usage behavior and your interaction with us and register data about your computer or mobile device. We collect, store, and use data about each access to our Website (so-called server log files). Access data includes:<br\/>Name and URL of the retrieved file<br\/>Date and time of retrieval<br\/>Amount of data transferred<br\/>Notification of successful retrieval (HTTP response code)<br\/>Browser type and browser version<br\/>Operating system<br\/>Referrer URL (i.e., the previously visited page)<br\/>Websites accessed from the user&#8217;s system via our Website<br\/>User&#8217;s Internet service provider<br\/>IP address and the requesting provider<br\/>We use this log data without associating it with your person or other profiling for statistical evaluations for the purpose of operating, securing, and optimizing our Website, but also for the anonymous recording of the number of visitors to our Website (traffic) as well as the scope and type of use of our Website and services, and for billing purposes to measure the number of clicks received from cooperation partners. Based on this information, we can provide personalized and location-based content and analyze traffic, find and fix errors, and improve our services.<br\/>This also constitutes our legitimate interest in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 f) GDPR.<br\/>We reserve the right to subsequently review the log data if there is reasonable suspicion of unlawful use based on concrete evidence. We store IP addresses for a limited period in the log files if this is necessary for security purposes or for the provision of services or billing of a service, e.g., if you use one of our services. After cancellation of the order process or after receipt of payment, we delete the IP address if it is no longer required for security purposes. We also store IP addresses if we have concrete suspicion of a criminal offense in connection with the use of our Website. In addition, we store the date of your last visit as part of your account (e.g., upon registration, login, clicking links, etc.).         <\/p><p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>3.3 Cookies<\/strong><\/span><br\/>We use so-called session cookies to optimize our Website. They serve, for example, to enable you to use the shopping cart function across multiple pages.<br\/>We also use persistent cookies to a limited extent (also small text files that are stored on your device), which remain on your device and enable us to recognize your browser on your next visit. These cookies are stored on your hard drive and delete themselves automatically after the specified time. Their lifespan is 1 month to 10 years. This allows us to present our service in a more user-friendly, effective, and secure manner and, for example, display information on the page specifically tailored to your interests.<br\/>Our legitimate interest in using cookies in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 f) GDPR is to make our Website more user-friendly, effective, and secure.<br\/>The following data and information, for example, are stored in the cookies:<br\/>Login information<br\/>Language settings<br\/>Entered search terms<br\/>Information about the number of visits to our Website and use of individual functions of our website.<br\/>When the cookie is activated, it is assigned an identification number and your personal data is not associated with this identification number. Your name, your IP address, or similar data that would enable the cookie to be associated with you are not stored in the cookie. Based on cookie technology, we only receive pseudonymized information, for example, about which pages of our shop were visited, which products were viewed, etc.<br\/>You can set your browser to be informed in advance about the setting of cookies and decide on a case-by-case basis whether to accept cookies for certain cases or in general, or to prevent cookies completely. This may limit the functionality of the Website.            <\/p><p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>3.4 Data for Fulfilling Our Contractual Obligations<\/strong><\/span><br\/>We process personal data that we need to fulfill our contractual obligations, such as name, address, email address, ordered products, invoice and payment data. The collection of this data is necessary for the conclusion of the contract.  <br>Data is deleted upon the expiration of warranty periods and statutory retention periods. Data linked to a user account (see below) will, in any case, be retained for the duration that the account is maintained.<br\/>The legal basis for processing this data is Art. 6 Para. 1 Sentence 1 b) GDPR, as this data is required for us to fulfill our contractual obligations to you.  <\/p><p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>3.5 Email Contact<\/strong><\/span><br\/>If you contact us (e.g., via contact form or email), we process your information to handle the inquiry and in case follow-up questions arise.<br\/>If the data processing is carried out to implement pre-contractual measures that are taken at your request, or if you are already our customer, to perform the contract, the legal basis for this data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 b) GDPR.<br\/>We only process further personal data if you consent to this (Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 a) GDPR) or we have a legitimate interest in processing your data (Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 f) GDPR). A legitimate interest exists, for example, in responding to your email. <\/p><h5><strong>4. Storage Duration<\/strong><\/h5><p>Unless specifically stated, we only store personal data for as long as is necessary to fulfill the intended purposes. In some cases, the legislator provides for the retention of personal data, for example in tax or commercial law. In these cases, the data will only continue to be stored by us for these legal purposes, but will not be processed otherwise and will be deleted after the statutory retention period has expired.  <\/p><h5><strong>5. If this is the case, you have the right to obtain free information from us about the personal data stored about you together with a copy of this data. Furthermore, there is a right to the following information:<br\/>the purposes of processing;<br\/>the categories of personal data being processed;<br\/>the recipients or categories of recipients to whom the personal data has been or will be disclosed, in particular recipients in third countries or international organizations;<br\/>if possible, the planned duration for which the personal data will be stored or, if this is not possible, the criteria for determining this duration;<br\/>the existence of a right to rectification or erasure of personal data concerning you or to restriction of processing by the controller or a right to object to such processing;<br\/>the existence of a right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority;<br\/>if the personal data is not collected from you, all available information about the origin of the data;<br\/>the existence of automated decision-making including profiling in accordance with Art. 22 para. 1 and 4 GDPR and\u2014at least in these cases\u2014meaningful information about the logic involved and the scope and intended effects of such processing for you.<br\/>If personal data is transferred to a third country or to an international organization, you have the right to be informed of the appropriate safeguards pursuant to Art. 46 GDPR in connection with the transfer.   <\/p><p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>5.2 Right to Rectification<\/strong><\/span><br\/>You have the right to request rectification and, if applicable, completion of personal data concerning you from us.<br\/>In detail:<br\/>You have the right to obtain from us without undue delay the rectification of inaccurate personal data concerning you. Taking into account the purposes of the processing, you have the right to request the completion of incomplete personal data\u2014including by means of a supplementary statement. <\/p><p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>5.3 Right to Erasure<\/strong> <strong>(&#8220;Right to be Forgotten&#8221;)<\/strong><\/span><br\/>In a number of cases, we are obliged to erase personal data concerning you.<br\/>In detail:<br\/>You have the right pursuant to Art. 17 para. 1 GDPR to request that we erase personal data concerning you without undue delay, and we are obliged to erase personal data without undue delay if one of the following reasons applies:<br\/>The personal data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or otherwise processed.<br\/>You withdraw your consent on which the processing was based pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 a) GDPR or Art. 9 para. 2 a) GDPR, and there is no other legal basis for the processing.<br\/>You object to the processing pursuant to Art. 21 para. 1 GDPR and there are no overriding legitimate grounds for the processing, or you object to the processing pursuant to Art. 21 para. 2 GDPR.<br\/>The personal data has been unlawfully processed.<br\/>The erasure of the personal data is necessary to comply with a legal obligation under Union law or the law of the Member States to which we are subject.<br\/>The personal data was collected in relation to the offer of information society services pursuant to Art. 8 para. 1 GDPR.<br\/>If we have made the personal data public and are obliged pursuant to Art. 17 para. 1 GDPR to erase it, we shall, taking into account available technology and the cost of implementation, take reasonable steps, including technical measures, to inform data controllers processing the personal data that you have requested the erasure of all links to, copies of, or replications of that personal data.       <\/p><p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>5.4 Right to Restriction of Processing<\/strong><\/span><br\/>In a number of cases, you are entitled to request that we restrict the processing of your personal data.<br\/>In detail:<br\/>You have the right to request that we restrict processing if one of the following conditions is met:<\/p><p>the accuracy of the personal data is contested by you, for a period enabling us to verify the accuracy of the personal data;<br\/>the processing is unlawful and you have opposed the erasure of the personal data and requested instead the restriction of the use of the personal data;<br\/>we no longer need the personal data for the purposes of processing, but you require the data for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims; or<br\/>you have objected to processing pursuant to Art. 21 para. 1 GDPR pending verification as to whether our legitimate grounds override yours. <\/p><p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>5.5 Right to Data Portability<\/strong><\/span><br\/>You have the right to receive personal data concerning you in a machine-readable format, to transmit it, or to have it transmitted by us.<br\/>In detail:<br\/>You have the right to receive the personal data concerning you that you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, and you have the right to transmit this data to another controller without hindrance from us, provided that<br\/>the processing is based on consent pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 a) GDPR or Art. 9 para. 2 a) GDPR or on a contract pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 b) GDPR and<br\/>the processing is carried out by automated means.<br\/>In exercising your right to data portability pursuant to paragraph 1, you have the right to have the personal data transmitted directly from us to another controller, where technically feasible.<\/p><p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>5.6 Right to Object<\/strong><\/span><br\/>You have the right to object to lawful processing of your personal data by us if this is justified by your particular situation and our interests in the processing do not override yours.<br\/>In detail:<br\/>You have the right to object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to the processing of personal data concerning you which is based on Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 e) or f) GDPR; this also applies to profiling based on these provisions. We will no longer process the personal data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights, and freedoms, or the processing serves the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims.<br\/>If personal data is processed by us for direct marketing purposes, you have the right to object at any time to the processing of personal data concerning you for the purpose of such marketing; this also applies to profiling insofar as it is related to such direct marketing.<br\/>You have the right, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to object to the processing of personal data concerning you which is carried out for scientific or historical research purposes or statistical purposes pursuant to Art. 89 para. 1 GDPR, unless the processing is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest.     <\/p><p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>5.7 Automated Decisions<\/strong><\/span> Including Profiling<br\/>You have the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing\u2014including profiling\u2014which produces legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affects you.<br\/>Automated decision-making based on the collected personal data does not take place.<\/p><p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>5.8 Right to Withdraw Data Protection Consent<\/strong><\/span><br\/>You have the right to withdraw consent to the processing of personal data at any time.<\/p><p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>5.9 Right to Lodge a Complaint with a Supervisory Authority<\/strong><\/span><br\/>You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of your habitual residence, place of work, or place of the alleged infringement, if you consider that the processing of personal data concerning you is unlawful.<\/p><h5><strong>6. Data Security<\/strong><\/h5><p>We make every effort to ensure the security of your data within the framework of applicable data protection laws and technical possibilities. <br>Your personal data is transmitted in encrypted form. This applies to your orders as well as the customer login. We use the SSL (Secure Socket Layer) coding system, but point out that data transmission over the internet (e.g., when communicating by email) can have security gaps. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.<br\/>To secure your data, we maintain technical and organizational security measures in accordance with Art. 32 GDPR, which we continuously adapt to the state of the art.<br\/>Furthermore, we do not guarantee that our services will be available at specific times; disruptions, interruptions, or failures cannot be ruled out. The servers we use are carefully backed up on a regular basis.    <\/p><h5><strong>7.
